THAT CARD! - Gravekeeper's Recruiter

When you see this segment, it means 'm out of ideas on what to post so i do this shiz~ :D

Gravekeeper's Recruiter [STBL-EN085]

When this card you control is sent to your graveyard, add 1 "Gravekeper's" monster with 1500 or less DEF from your deck to your hand.

Gravekeepers revived?...Greavekeepers' comeback?....well this card's certainly fits with the gravekeeper theme with the cloths and all, that's for sure. For effect, it's a good effect similar to the (in)famous Witch of the Black Forest or Sangan in some ways, don't need to explain, you guys know the drill! This card was at 3 in the deck owned by Frazier Smith in the YCS event in Atlanta where it took the top three spot and now all of a sudden, they realize Recruiter was involved! sorta like a Witch of the black forest for GKs but u can put 3 in your deck~ not much to say about it guess this shouts 'short card review!'~ :D

WARNING : ALL TEXT BELOW CONTAINS GOOD STUFFS ABOUT RECRUITER!
Ok, so this card works wonders in a Gravekeeper deck, like Duh! as you may know, or may not know, this card can do wonders with GK Descendant by tributing Recruiter with D's effect to destroy 1 of your opponent's card on the field then by tributing R, u can use it's effect to get a GK from your deck to your hand, preferably GK Commandant to dump himself and get Necrovalley! BOOM! graveyard shut-down!~ Other than that, you can tribute this card as a tribute summon for GK Visionary, you get another GK by R's effect then your visionary is protected from destruction! so tribute summons may prove beneficial in this case. Dark Hole? Torrential Tribute?...no worries, GK recruiter goes to grave by those card, you can search a GK from your deck to your hand! just remember to search GKs with only 1500 DEf n below with Recruiter's effect. So you can go Chief, Descendant, Commandant, Priestess and probably most GKs available. Fun isn't it?.....HELL YEA!~

As for the only way Recruiter can fail, only when it gets removed from play i guess. I dunno, your opp might just go DD warrior lady/Warrior on ya n drag recruiter along to stop you from searching. Oh Nobleman of Crossout may stop it for good, if you set your Recruiter waiting for it to go to grave, your opp might think it's a Spy or Guard then reveal.....bye-bye Recruiter, off to 'Remove-from-Play world' for ya! Might get tougher if you're dealing with DD decks, Dimensional Fissure and Macro Cosmos may disrupt your recruitings, heck even Banisher of the Radiance can even stop Recruiter, "How ya gonna recruit your gravekeeper friends now huh punk?" mocked Banisher of the Radiance to Greavekeeper's Recruiter. Famous last words to end the review?.....

Gravekeepers FTW!

Ratings:-

Playability - 4.5/5 - It may be unplayable in any other decks but in a Gravekeeper deck, it'll shine so bright!~
Art - 4/5 - It looks cool, Jumping like a Ninja sort of art, plus it reminds me of Marik's step brother?
Fun Trivia - Marik's step brother's name is Rishid or Odion in the English anime, nothing to do with he card or anything, just wanna get that across. Plus it is called a FUN Trivia :D

Total Rating - 5/5
Just what the Gravekeeper's Family ordered, a male version of 'Witch of the Black Forest' to search for other family members in times of need. What more can they ask for?.....heck it's even not banned unlike Witch of the Black Forest, though banning Recruiter would be weird, not sayin it won't be semi-ed or limited and i'm also not challenging Konami to Ban this card....ok imma shut up now~

THAT CARD! - Solemn Warning

Solemn Warning
[DREV-EN077]

Pay 2000 life points to negate the summon of a monster OR the activation of a spell card, trap card, or effect monster's effect that includes an effect that special summons a monster(s), and destroy that card.

Wow, a mini-sized solemn-like card which lacks a lot of forward slash (/) in the text unlike Solemn Judgment. FACT! changed the word Judgement to Warning and bingo - Solemn Warning! instead of paying half of your life to negate basically anything which is Solemn Judgment.....Solemn Warning instead requires the user to pay a quarter of their life points(1/4 of 8000 LP = 2000 LP, yea i'm a smart ass) in order to negate a summon of a monster while you can also negate a spell, trap, monster's effect that special summons a monster(s) and destroys it. it's a useful card in any deck, however some duelist still prefer Solemn Judgment (even me) and does not consider Warning as a reliable card (not me).
Some even suggest using Black Horn of Heaven to negate the special summon of a monster(s) as it doesn't reduce their life points at all and is at 3 for usage in decks. So guys is it worth putting in your deck?....

Aite, Solemn Warning or SW in short. so SW a counter trap card, very hard to beat since it's a counter trap and not a normal trap. The picture pretty much gives it all away, tell me the picture of SW reminds you of Solemn Judgment! first time i pulled it i went, "That's a summoning negating card shiz right there~" and no, i didn't even read the text yet since i got the OCG one and i can't read freakin japanese shiz (no offense).ok enough of that, now for the 'why you should put it in your deck' part and 'why other cards are better than this' part...here we go~~~

Ok, put solemn warning because it acts as a mini-sized (yes, i said this already) solemn judgment which doesn't really negate everything but negates summons which can be very helpful in duels. Against meta decks putting 2 SWs at least can be helpful, for example, to negate the SS of Machina Fortress against Machina deck and shiz, another one, it can beat XX-Saber Boggart Knight/Faultroll combo which is a pain in the a$$ if you don't stop it and the most popular example, stops Gorz like a boss! and it can also stop GBs...for those who hate them, try it now!~ apart from monsters' summoning, you can also stop the likes of Starlight Road, Marco Cosmos and the eva so annoying Magical Dimension. All this at a cost of 2000 LP. A bargain maybe?...a blessing? or is it too high for just negating summons?.....

Why not to use it and rather use other cards like Black Horn of Heaven and Solemn Judgemnt, the father of SW. Well this 2 cards are in some ways more better to be used in a deck, Black Horn negates a SS for freeeeeeeee while SJ negates every single shiz your opponent can think of like a boss?....but it shouldn't discourage you to try out SW as it's not a heck of a bad card to begin with. Plus if that doesn't convince you, think this - Black horn can only negate SS and not other summons like SW can and as for SJ though superior in effect, sadly it's limited and SW's not....enough to convince you lots?.....oh may i add, it can work out in any and good against meta decks which focus on Special summoning......

I'm gettin sleepy~~~

Ratings :-

Playability - 4/5 - good in any deck but unless you're playing against someone who special summons like mad, better just side this card cos 2000 LP's a little high~
Art - 3/5 - Lack of originality, it's like Solemn Judgment's art from a different camera angle as an art
Fun Trivia - Both this card's artwork and "Solemn Judgment" feature an old man resembling the classic depiction of God in Christianity, as well as two angels, just as in "Solemn Judgment". Their translated Japanese names ("Declaration of God" and "Warning of God", respectively) support this interpretation. [source - Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia]

Total Rating - 4/5
You'll think it's like a solemn judgment with a lower cost, but remember it doesn't negate spells, traps and mons' effect unless it special summons a monster. Don't go negating everything with Warning as it will only involve lots of face-palming by your opponent!

THAT CARD! - Pot Of Duality

Pot Of Duality
[DREV-EN062]

Reveal the top 3 cards of your Deck, add 1 of them to your hand, then shuffle the rest back into your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Pot of Duality" per turn. You cannot Special Summon amonster(s) during the turn you activate this card.

Regarded as the most talked about card since it's release. Able to pick a card of your choice from a reasonable 3 cards from the top of your deck which has to be revealed first. Reminds duelist of the famous Pot of Greed as it works as a draw engine, and even graceful Charity. However many argue about the playability of the card as you cannot special summon when Pot of Duality is activated, which some suggest may is not worth it. Only question now is.....is it worth putting in your deck?

So today, Pot of Duality...oh look it's the Pot of Greed face on the left - fun trivia!....ok serious time. Why put PoD (Pot of Duality) in your deck?..and why not to.....first of all effect kinda simple - easy as Graceful Charity with reveal instead of draw and unpicked cards go to deck instead of the grave...once activated, no special summon...even if u special summon first then use PoD....won't work since you didn't obey the condition of PoD....simple right?...plus one PoD per turn!

Now why should you put PoD in your deck?...simple...first of all, Draw Engine - Yes, even if it gives you a slight hand advantage..still considered a draw engine....plus you get to pick 1 card appropriate for your situation out of 3 cards..what more can you ask for?....imagine getting a Dark Hole with your 3 card reveals when your opponent has lots of monsters on their field...BOOM!~ - life saver~....next, let's go a little off....Mystical Refpanel ..ring a bell?....well you can chain this card with PoD....and you reveal your 3 cards n pick 1..while your opponent can't special summon this turn..kinda stops your opponent special summoning from their hand - Battle Fader, Gorz and etc......kinda handy right?....

Ok, now..why not to run one....ok now, why won't you run one?!....it's playable in almost any deck....the no special summon condition..well, it works as a small cost for such a handy effect....imagine without a cost...like pot of greed...see where i'm going here?....the cost helps PoD avoid the list...not that i'm saying it may not be limited or semi-ed in future....but, for such a draw effect or possibly life saving effect....no special summoning for a turn may not be so bad if you think about it.....though it may disrupt deck strategies..since most decks these days - top deck depend on special summoning...so that may be the only problem....apart from revealing the 3 cards which may give away cards to your opponent particularly table turning trap cards - Mirror Force, Solemn and etc.....oh one PoD per turn?...no problem~....

Now, let's wrap things up Pojo-rating style,

Ratings :-

Playability - 4.5/5 - splash em in any deck..it'll work!
Art - 5/5 - It's a freakin pot, what do you expect?
Fun Trivia - If you only have 2 cards left in your Deck, you can still activate Pot of Duality. You’ll reveal the remaining 2, add 1 to your hand, and the other will be returned [source - Yu-Gi-Oh Wikia]

Total Rating - 5/5
You know you'll be using it if you pulled one.... :p
