Hey ya!
On today's post, I am going to showcase my 'Battle Sister' deck that I used during last week's tournament.
So here it goes, this is the Oracle Think Tank's 'Battle Sisters~' Note that this is pre-EB07 and will update this as soon as I can get the new shcutff. Lets begin~
G3
Battle Sister, Fromage x4
Battle Sister, Souffle x3
G2
Battle Sister, Macaroon x4
Battle Sister, Tarte x4
Battle Sister, Mocha x3
G1
Battle Sister, Omelet x4
Battle Sister, Chocolat x3
Battle Sister, Cocoa x2
Oracle Guardian, Gemini x3
Luck Bird x2
G0
Battle Sister, Ginger x4
Psychic Bird x4
Battle Sister, Tirasumi x4
Lozenge Magus x4
Now you might be thinking,
"Why on earth are you using this deck??? You mad bro?"
First off, yes, I am mad for using this deck.
Second, because it's fun, DUH...
Anyways, the main goal of this deck is to, well, simply to beat down. Using Fromage as the main vanguard, and having Omelet behind her, I have a constant 21k attacker if I have at least 4 Battle Sisters on the rear. Sadly, theories can sometimes be a bitch and at most times, I couldn't get it going let alone having to limit break. Overall, I find the deck to have potential to be a decent deck to play. Not competitively but on that Fun/Good deck to run if you can get hold of the support cards.
Personally, I like the deck, even without the newer support. It's a nice change of pace from the usual Narukami deck that I used to run. I would like to upgrade this deck when I can get hold of the new cards because with Lemonade, I can really abuse Fromage's LB and generate that 'Souless OTT' type of had advantage~
...And that's the deck profile~
Not much to say, because right now it's just a straight forward deck. (Eheh~)

Tournament Report #1 - Schrödinger CardFight Tournament 2 (feat Battle Sisters Pre-EB07)
This post is sponsored by the 'Battle Sisters,' they are the definition of 'Nuns with Guns'
Anyways, hello there~
L.Z here with my first tournament report, one of the few segments that I'll be doing in this blog seeing that I never got the chance (or the will power) to do so. With that being said, today's report will be a sucky one because I have no clue how many people joined the tournament or what decks were played. The only decks I know are the decks that I faced...so yeah. The tournament style is round robin, followed by elimination...I think...Anyways, my weapon of choice for today's tournament was a 'Battle Sister OTT. Pre-EB07 as a matter of fact.
On to my matches.
1st round: VS A kid that I barely knew (Gold Paladins)
OO
The game was ok, the fact that he trigger sacked quite a few times makes it nerve wrecking and some of his plays were quite questionable and seeing just a few cards in the deck, I'm guessing it's a modded trial deck. Overall, it's still an easy win despite the trig-sacking shenanigans.
2nd round vs Lonewof (Narukami)
OXO
This is one of the 2 most nerve wrecking games I ever played mainly because this match specifically was the first time I ever faced a 'Vowing Sabre Dragon "R"' deck. I don't know why but the moment I faced the deck, I felt like the actual dragon wanted to eat me or something! In-reality, it was hard for me to gain momentum because of Fromage's weak 10k base power. Though I managed a bit and started hitting with 20k/19k columns (Souffle with Gemini and Macaroon and Omelet) secured myself the first game. Second game however, was a different story, my starter, which was Waffle, got linchu'd, my hand and my columns were bad and I couldn't limit break in time so I lost that one. Third game, slowly gaining momentum despite Waffle got linchu'd yet again, used my 20k/19k columns knocking out any potential threats in the rear guard and finished it off with Fromage, backed up with Omelet.
3rd round VS the other Narukami player (Narukami)
XOX
This was one of the 2 most nerve wrecking games where I had to face another Narukami deck, same build only instead of the basic grade 3 line-up, my opponent uses the grade 3 'Chou-Oh' clone. The first game, I couldn't keep up because he rushed me early on and finished me off with a cross-break ride followed by a limit break, shaving my boosters off like a person shaving off their hairy leg, ok...gross. Second game, I can't remember how I won because it was too epic. Third game started off slow but as the match progresses, it became really hard with 'Vowing Sabre' continuously harassing me. In the end, I lost due to the fact that, not only I couldn't guard the high power, he also double crit'd me at 4 damage...Ugh.
4th round, VS Sting (Gold Paladins)
XX
Fought SDD with Bleoeberis. I couldn't keep up with the pace set by my opponent...so yeah. Nothing else to say other than feeling salty after it ended...gah!
So yeah, that's the report in the nutshell, couldn't manage to even up my points and couldn't go on to top 'I don't remember.' At least I get to use the Battle Sister deck despite it not being good until the support come out but hey at least I had a bit fun despite the saltiness I had.
I have to congratulate my friend, Izzat for winning the tournament all together. I'm planning on interviewing him, when? I don't know and I can't promise you on that but I'll try contacting him and what not.
Till then, thanks for reading~

Re-Working The Silent Bible
Hey there guys,
I've been thinking of reworking the blog into a full fledged 'Cardfight Vanguard' blog.
Yeah...since Yu-Gi-Oh now is in a slump for the worst and I apparently have no life what's so ever, why not rework it into a blog dedicated to 'Cardfight!! Vanguard,' following the likes of 'Touya' from 'Cardfight Pro'
and FreedomDuo among many others.
So, to keep it tidy, I made a small list of categories that I'll be covering, and depending on how well or bad it is, some of it may stay and some might be taken out.
Here's the current list so far:
- Deck Profiles
- Inside Look (An in-depth analysis of clans, archetypes and decks.)
- Card Reviews
- Tournament Reports (You get to read some of Brunei's finest tournaments.)
- Player Interviews (My first try on this particular subject)
Now the days of me posting (as if right now) is random, meaning that I'm not quite sure when will a specific topic will be posted, excluding the 'Tournament Reports' and 'Player Interviews,' which will be made, but not so often, on the weekends.
Aesthetic wise...yeah, the blog is dull, I know. I'll try to incorporate pictures here and there now. Other than that, I might change up the layout here and there to appease the eyes a bit.
Lastly, the writers...
*Looks left, looks right*
(sigh) Looks like I'll be working alone then T^T
Note: I was joking when I say I don't have a life outside of CFVG, so bare in mind that I may not be able to post some quality articles due to socializing and work.
With that being said, the first post of the new format from this blog will start...After Hari Raya.
Yes, I'm a muslim and it's almost the end of Ramadan so, let me celebrate ok? Good~
This is the end...
This is the end...

The State of Vanguard with L.Z
Hello. It's been a while, might as well use the time I got here and talk about stuff that matters in Cardfight Vanguard and that is 'The state of Cardfight!! Vanguard,' with my opinions and other stuff. Let's begin shall we?
8 months ago, my last post was pre-BT10 talking about 'Genesis.' A pretty bad one at that but I'm trying to improve on article, don't judge me.
Post BT10 was the phase where I needed to have a competitive edge. I adopted a Narukami/Eradicator deck with Gauntlet Busters and hauled ass for the duration of that period. Everything went well until stuff happend with teammates and what not to the point that because of the deck I'm using, people caught me in the wrong foot. Why? I just don't know. It's ridiculous when people gets awfully serious in tournaments but that's another story to be told in a future post.
After what happened, I didn't join any tourneys during that time period, except for a few smaller ones. Even then, because of what happened. Things weren't go smoothly for me and my Narukamis and decided to have a hiatus up until the release of BT12 where I decided to change up and re-work on my decks for the new format. Dismantled my GBD deck and took up the power of the 'Divine Sealed Dragon' himself and his 'Crossride form' making this deck my first crossride deck in 2 years of my CFVG lifespan and recently, got back to my old roots and made a full Oracle Think Tank deck in preperation for EB07.
So what's in store for me and this blog in the near future? Honestly, I'm not quite sure of what to say on this matter, but on my part, I'm trying to do my best to further improve this dead-beat blog of mine and (at aleast) join in more tourneys...*ugh*
With that been said, this is LZ. Signing off!~

More cards surface from BT10!...Wait, GENESIS!?
Happy weekend er'body.
Just checked Freedomduo's blog for some BT10 updates and, holy cheese buckets there are a lot! One thing that caught my attention is the new clan being introduced, 'Genesis.'
Now judging from what I can tell, 'Genesis' is basically...Oracle Think Tank mixed with Dark Irregulars.
....
But seriously though the clan is quite, unique if I must say? I don't get it though, it doesn't seem too...stable, especially the Ride chain cards (THEY HAVE THEY'RE OWN RIDE CHAIN!) The Artemis ride chain. This ride chain has a pretty unique twist in it.
You got your basic, 'When you ride the grade 1 on top of the grade 0, top 7, grade 2 or 3 blablabla,' here's the unique part of the ride chain:
'Auto: When a grade 2 <Genesis> other than "Twilight Hunter, Artemis" rides this unit, if you have "Glittering Star, Artemis" in your soul, look at up to 7 cards from the top of your deck, search for up to one card named "Twilight Hunter, Artemis" from among them, ride it, and shuffle your deck.'
So basically, you have a chance to ride the grade 3 Artemis...if you don't ride the grade 2 Artemis??
*Mind blown*
Well shucks, what weird way to introduce new skills....
Other than that, they have generic support cards, some are new, some are old. The senti-null is cute and that's pretty much it. I might do an in depth analysis on the new clan after the release of BT10. At least it's not the type of clan that can retire and discard stuff or else that would be broken as heck!
Until then, LZ OUT!

The Many Incarnation of Alfred
Oh Alfred
You started off more or less a decent card~
I'm a Young King! Now sleep with me!
You only had the effect to call Blaster Blade from your soul...
AHAHAHAH, I'm broken. NOW SLEEP WITH ME!
When you became the King of Knights...Well, you define the meta back then....
AHAHAHAH, I'm even more Broken! SLEEP WITH ME!!
...of having to superior call anything Royal Paladin unit from the deck, not only that, you gain power for every unit on the field...what a tool.
Now...
Liberator of the Round Table, Alfred
Power 11000/No Shield/Gold Paladin/Human
Continuous【V】 Limit Break (4): During your turn, this unit gets +2000
power for each of your rear-guards with "Liberator" in its name
power for each of your rear-guards with "Liberator" in its name
Activate【V/R】 : [Counterblast (2) cards with "Liberator" in their name]Look at up to 3 cards from the top of your deck, search for up to 1 《Gold Paladin》 among them, call it to an open rearguard circle, and put the rest of the revealed cards on the bottom of the deck.
Continuous【V/R】: Lord

Battler of the Twin Brush, Polaris [Card Review]
What up my fellow readers? LZ here back with another post and this time we'll be doing a card review on a bear....yes, a bear.
This bear?
This bear?
._.
No...I'm talking about the bear from who made a debut on episode 99 of Cardfight Vanguard Circuit Hen,
Battler of Twin Brush, Polaris! Let's take a looksie.
Battler of Twin Brush, Polaris
Grade 3
Great Nature
Power: 10,000
Critical: 1
Flavor Text: "Second Wind, let's show them the power that lies beyond the limit."
Skill:
Skill:
[AUTO](VC) Limit Break 4 (This ability is active if you have four or more damage):[Counter Blast (2)] When this unit attacks a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, choose another of your «Great Nature» rear-guards, [Stand] it, and that unit gets [Power]+4000 until end of turn, and at the beginning of your end phase, retire that unit.
[AUTO](VC):When this unit attacks a vanguard, this unit gets [Power]+3000 until end of battle.
Thoughts:
Ok, by looking at the skill in general. It's basically a stand trigger on steroids. There are a few problems with this card.
1) It's a VG skill only.
Ok, by looking at the skill in general. It's basically a stand trigger on steroids. There are a few problems with this card.
1) It's a VG skill only.
2) 10k beatstick as a rear guard.
3) Heavy cost, it being a limit break effect.
4) Bad card when played in the early stages of the game.
You might be thinking, "Yeah, it's a bad card, what's your point? It's not a cross ride or anything..."
My friend, I have yet to go to the best part of this card.
My friend, I have yet to go to the best part of this card.
I did mention that this card's effect is a 'Stand Trigger on steroids,' despite it having the flaws that I pointed up. There are good points about it too. For instance, it's a good late game card that can give you the push that you need to win when you have controlled the field enough. The Power+3k is also good when boosted with an 8k booster to hit that magic number. (21k, yum~) You can also recover the lost Counterblast with 'Tick Tock Flamingo,' that's still a good thing!
._.
._.
I really can't think good things about this card.
Let's talk about the art, the art is pretty bad ass, a polar bear with fricken arm guards that could tear you a new asshole. It's vicious in a way while maintaining that sleek and clean manga-like art.
Overall, the card is subpar, riding this card early will give you nothing but a power boost. Late game, it's pretty much a game ender if done correctly. Is it worth putting in a deck? Yes, as a tech card, at least for me. I haven't seen this deck much in action so I might change my perspective on it but for now, I can't really see this as a main vanguard because of it's effect.
Score:
Card: 6.5/10: Despite having a subpar effect, it's still a Great Nature card and the clan has a special place in my heart (As cheesy as it sounds)
Art: 7.5/10: Like any other Great Nature, it features an animal, I'm not a big fan of bears but this bear for me is badass, the way it's positioned and the way it's armed. I like it, heck it's even better looking in the anime as far as it goes!
Aite, that's my review for today, hope you enjoy reading it~
